Chemistry 2008 - 2009
Chemistry is the study of matter and how it behaves. The language of
chemistry is mathematics. To be successful, work the problems, come to
class on time, bring a pencil and calculator every day and preread the

Grading:
Homework: (15%)Problems solving is essential for understanding
chemistry. Be sure and do your problems, no late work accepted. Excused
illness absences, check the homework board to turn in as many plus one. All work in pencil!
Laboratory: (15%)Prepare your lab book before lab. One letter per
box, be neat, use a ruler.
Vocabulary: (10%)The vocabulary is additive, make flashcards. Go over
vocabulary daily.
Tests: (60%)Tests include vocabulary and problem solving.
Miss exams can be made up 48 hours after your return to school. Tests are returned to the student.
Extra help can be scheduled at break or lunch, after school starting in
November! |
