Animating using GIF Animator
Producing the practice graphics
- Using PROGRAMS
– ACCESSORIES – PAINT open
a new file in paint, make the dimensions, 300 x 300.
- Using
the circle tool draw a circle almost the size of the file
space.

- Using
the line tool divide the circle into quarters.

- Using
the paint can tool, fill each quarter, clockwise with red,
then blue, then yellow and lastly green.
Save this as wheel1.bmp.

- Using
the same file, and the paint can tool, rotate the colors one
quarter. Save as wheel2.bmp. Repeat again and save as wheel3.bmp and
wheel4.bmp.
- You
should now have four files saved.
Close PAINT.
Animating the wheel
- Open GIF
Animator select New from the File Drop Down Menu.
- From
the Layer Drop Down Menu select Add Images
browse to find wheel1.bmp and select.
- Continue
to add wheel2.bmp, wheel3.bmp and wheel4.bmp
in the same manner.
- With
all the images added for the animation select Start Preview
from the Task Bar. The
animation will preview until Stop Preview is selected.
- If a
greater delay is desired between images, change the time allowed in the looping
command box.
- Once
the animation is completed select from the file drop down menu,
save as. At this
point, the desired file name and saving location can be designated.
