Taking the pre and post test and saving for your portfolio:

  1. For which ever quiz you are planning to take, go to that quiz.
  2. Enter your name, you have ten minutes to take the quiz, the results will be sent when you click on finish.  Remember for the pretest, the results do not count for your grade just your effort, so do you best remembering that you have not studied this material before.
  3. The quiz will be graded for you and the results presented automatically.  While holding the left mouse button, drag the cursor from the beginning to the end of the page.  This selects all the information.  Then go to the edit drop-down menu and select copy.  Minimize the browser.
  4. Open up MS Word and past what you have copied to a new document.  Save that document as a web page with the filename:  pquiz.htm in the evidence folder of the appropriate portfolio (remember, word will add the .htm to the filename so you don’t have to.)

Analyze the Contents of the pretest:

  1. Go to www.calzim.com/portfolio/portfolio.htm and select the standards for the current quiz.  You may need to print them out to complete this assignment.

  1. Analyze each question and check the standard that is applies to, some may cover multiple standards, check no more than two.  Underline the question number if you got that one correct.
  2. Some standards may not be covered by the quiz, that is ok.
  3. Make a list of any standards that you seem to know and a list of the ones you do not.
